Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 August 2026

The short version

  • You must be an adult to create an account. Kids only watch, through a PIN-protected Kids Mode a parent controls.
  • Only record a voice that is yours, or one you have permission to use.
  • Stories are generated automatically by AI with child-safety filtering — review them before your child watches, especially early on.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel any time and keep your existing stories.
  • Don’t use Voxnour to create illegal, harmful or abusive content, or to clone someone’s voice without their consent.

This summary is for convenience only and does not replace the full terms below.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Voxnour (ABN 38 168 432 189) (“Voxnour”, “we”, “us” or “our”), of Parramatta, Sydney NSW, Australia. By creating an account or using our website, web application or related services (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

Voxnour lets a parent or guardian record their voice once, then generate personalised animated bedtime stories for their child — written and illustrated by AI and narrated in that recorded voice — which are saved to a private family library. Available themes, characters, story length and other features may change over time, and features may be limited by your subscription tier.

3. Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old, and legally capable of entering into a binding contract, to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
  • Tell us immediately at hello@voxnour.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Children & Kids Mode

Voxnour is designed for use by parents and guardians on behalf of their children. Children do not create accounts, agree to these Terms, or make purchases. A parent or guardian holds the account, creates all story content, and controls the child’s access through a PIN-protected Kids Mode that only allows watching finished stories.

You are responsible for supervising your child’s use of the Service and for deciding which stories are appropriate for them. Automated safety filtering reduces but does not eliminate the chance that generated content is imperfect — we recommend previewing new stories yourself, particularly for younger children.

5. Your voice recording

When you record or upload audio to create a voice on Voxnour, you confirm that the voice is your own, or that you have the explicit permissionof the person whose voice it is, to record it and to have it cloned and used to narrate stories on your account. You must not create a voice using someone else’s voice without their consent, including public figures, celebrities or other people’s family members.

You can delete a voice at any time from your profile. See our Privacy Policy for how voice data is stored, used and deleted.

6. Your content & ownership

“Your Content” means the themes, character details, prompts and other inputs you provide, and the stories, images, audio and video Voxnour generates for your account from them.

  • As between you and Voxnour, you own Your Content, and we grant you a personal, non-commercial licence to stream, download and share it for your family’s use.
  • You grant Voxnour a licence to host, process, reproduce and transmit Your Content solely to provide, maintain and improve the Service (for example, generating, storing and streaming your stories).
  • You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to submit it — including any character names, likenesses or descriptions you provide.
  • We do not sell Your Content or use it to train models for other users. See the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy.

7. AI-generated content

Story text, scene images, animation and narration are generated automatically by artificial-intelligence systems based on your inputs. AI-generated content can occasionally be inaccurate, repetitive or imperfect despite our automated child-safety filtering. Voxnour does not guarantee that any generated story will be free of errors, and stories should not be relied on as factual, educational or medical content.

Stories featuring religious characters or themes are queued for human review before publication rather than generated and delivered automatically.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • clone or attempt to clone a voice without the speaker’s consent;
  • generate, request or attempt to generate illegal, hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise harmful content, or content that exploits or endangers a child;
  • attempt to bypass, disable or probe our safety guardrails or content filters;
  • reverse-engineer, scrape, or access the Service by any means other than the interfaces we provide;
  • resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service or Your Content without our written consent;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with Voxnour; or
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

You can report content that concerns you from within the app; we review reports and may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Subscriptions & billing

  • Voxnour offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers with monthly video allowances, billed monthly or annually. Current pricing is shown in the app before you subscribe.
  • Prices shown to Australian customers are GST-inclusive. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; we never see your full card number.
  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal.
  • You can cancel at any time from account settings or the billing portal. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access to your existing library and to the free tier.
  • Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. Purchased top-up videos do not expire; monthly plan allowances do not roll over.
  • We may change subscription pricing or plan allowances going forward; we will give you reasonable notice before a change takes effect for your next billing period.

10. Coupons & promotions

Coupon codes and promotional grants are single-use per account unless stated otherwise, may have expiry dates or eligibility restrictions, and have no cash value. We may cancel a promotion or reclaim a grant obtained through fraud or abuse of these Terms.

11. Our intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, trademarks, logos and the Voxnour name — is owned by Voxnour or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the licence to Your Content described in Section 6, nothing in these Terms gives you any right in our intellectual property.

12. Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers to deliver parts of the Service (for example, voice cloning, AI generation and payment processing), listed in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for outages or errors originating from these providers, though we work to minimise their impact on you.

13. Suspension & termination

  • You can delete your account at any time from account settings — this permanently erases your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the safety of children or other users.
  • We will give you notice where reasonably practicable before terminating for breach, except in cases of serious or repeated violations, illegal activity, or risk to child safety.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 11, 14, 15, 16 and 17) continue to apply.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voxnour is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Voxnour harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or Your Content, except to the extent caused by our own breach of these Terms or negligence.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia to resolve any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
